Greek Titans (Pt. 20)

Selene:

Selene is the Titan goddess of the moon. She’s linked to Artemis and Hecate. All three of the goddesses are considered lunar goddesses. Selene had an affair with Endymion, a mortal that Zeus had granted the choice of when he would die. She drove the Moon chariot, which was pulled by two snow-white horses. According to some sources, Selene was the lover (or, at least, one of the lovers) of Zeus. With Zeus, she had several children: Pandia, who was considered “all bright”; Ersa, the personification of dew; Nemea, the nymph of the eponymous place; and, possibly, Dionysus (some sources say that Selene was the mother of Dionysus, while others say that Semele was his mother).
