Roman Gods and Goddesses (Introduction)

So, I’ve done the 12 Greek gods and goddesses of Mt. Olympus, so now I’m going to do the 12 Roman equivalents to those gods and goddesses. But, like always, a list:


12 Greek gods and goddesses of Mt. Olympus and their Roman counterparts:

  • Zeus = Jupiter

  • Poseidon = Neptune

  • Hades = Pluto, Dis Pater, and Orcus

  • Hera = Juno

  • Athena = Minerva

  • Apollo = Apollo

  • Ares = Mars

  • Demeter = Ceres

  • Artemis = Diana

  • Aphrodite = Venus

  • Dionysus = Liber and Bacchus

  • Hermes = Mercury

  • Hephaestus = Vulcan
