Roman Gods and Goddesses (Pt. 11)

Bacchus:

The Roman counterpart of Dionysus, he’s the god of wine and agriculture. He was also associated with fertility and drama, too. He was sometimes sought out to help orchids grow. He was the son of Jupiter and Semele. Romans believed that Bacchus inspired them in their drunken state, allowing them to think and act in different ways.
