Norse Gods and Goddesses (Pt. 11)

I haven't done one of these posts in a while, so I'm doing this goddess for this post.

Freya:

She’s the Norse Vanir goddess of fertility and love, and she knows the “art” of prophecy. She taught Odin how to predict the future. She’s also associated with sex, lust, sorcery, gold, war, death, and beauty. Her name is also (along with Freya) most commonly spelled Freyja. She became an honorary member of the Aesir gods’ tribe after the Aesir-Vanir War. She was accused (by Loki, of course) to have slept with all the gods and elves (yes, that includes Frey, her brother). While half of the dead warriors go to Asgard to live in Valhalla, the other half go to Folkvang to live with Freya.
