Roman Gods and Goddesses (Pt. 1)

Jupiter:

Known as Zeus in Greek mythology, he is the King of Gods in Roman mythology. The god of the sky, storms, thunder, and lightning. Just like Zeus, Jupiter’s symbols include the lightning bolt, eagle, and the oak tree. Roman mythology attributed him with all the powers of Zeus, of course, including power over rain, thunder, and lightning. His primary weapon is obviously the lightning bolt. Jupiter brought light and controlled the weather. Jupiter became the king of gods by dividing the universe into three parts with his two brothers Pluto and Neptune, Pluto being the god of the underworld, Neptune the god of the sea, and Jupiter the god of the sky.
