Roman Gods and Goddesses (Pt. 11)

Mercury:

The Roman counterpart of Hermes, he’s the god of translators and interpreters. Like his Greek counterpart, he’s the messenger of the gods. It’s said that he ruled over wealth, good fortune, commerce, travelling, and thievery. Symbols that were associated with Mercury include his winged sandals and his staff. Mercury is the grandson of the Titan Atlas.
