Roman Gods and Goddesses (Pt. 10)

Venus:

The Roman counterpart of Aphrodite, she’s the goddess of love, beauty, sex, and desire. She had other abilities, too; more than the Greek Aphrodite. She also was the goddess of victory and prostitution. She’s seen as the mother of Roman people. Her symbols are myrtle and roses. She’s said to have been born out of an ocean wave.
