The Roman counterpart of Ares, Mars is the god of war. He’s also an agricultural guardian. He’s the son of Jupiter and Juno. It’s said that he loves violence and conflict. He was the founder of Rome, and it’s believed that he would come to the aid of Rome during conflict or wars.
